Mrs. Williams is Executive Director for Global Foundation for Dental Healthcare and Awareness, Inc. (GFDHA). In this role, she is responsible for planning, developing, directing and evaluating dental and medical health programs in oral disease prevention and overall health promotion. Program goals are accomplished through duties related to data management, community engagement, communications, public education, budget management, grant writing/management and volunteer supervision.
Mrs. Williams has extensive dental health experience; she received her Diploma in Dental Assisting in 2005 from Gwinnett Technical College in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She later earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Clayton State University in Morrow, GA in 2014. In 2018, she earned her caregiver certification from the National Caregiver’s Association. Mrs. Williams is very passionate about her career path and believes that regardless of one’s social or economic status, everyone should have access to healthcare.
One of Mrs. Williams’ greatest strengths is her ability to effectively form and maintain partnerships. Since 2015, she has successfully partnered with more than 50-dental supply and medical companies, dental and dental hygiene schools as well as community volunteers. Ms. Williams leads over 90-volunteers (teams of 34-45 per project) during annual and quarterly projects. Mrs. Williams serve as a member of the Georgia Dental Hygiene Association, the American Red cross and the American Caregivers Association.
Mr. Assah is the Health Program Director and Vice President for Global Foundation for Dental Healthcare and Awareness, Inc. (GFDHA). His immediate role is patient medication management, dispensing medication and patient education. He has extensive overall health knowledge. Program goals are accomplished through duties related to community engagement, communications, public education, budget management, and volunteer supervision. Mr. Assan earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.) degree from The Medical University of South Carolina-College of Pharmacy.
Mrs. Glanville is the Secretary for Global Foundation for Dental Healthcare and Awareness, Inc. (GFDHA). Her immediate role is recording minutes during Board of Directors quarterly meetings and organizing fundraising events. Mrs. Glanville has widespread knowledge in oral health as she has held various positions in dentistry over the past 10-years. She is currently employed with Help A Child Smile mobile dental as a Dental Assistant where she travels all over Georgia working with underserved children.
Berry is a Certified Public Accountant and Business & Real Estate Consultant. As a financial services professional with over 30 years of experience, Berry specializes in providing a full range of financial services including accounting, tax, management consulting, real estate and insurance services for individuals, small and medium size businesses. Berry is a graduate of Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA in 1981 with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and management. Hobbies include golf, fishing, reading, cooking, crossword puzzles and jig saw puzzles.
Mr. Pearson is the Community Outreach Director; he has been volunteering with Global Foundation for Dental Healthcare and Awareness, Inc. since 2015. Mr. Pearson has a widespread knowledge in overall health. He has worked in various healthcare settings including federal and state prisons. He earned his Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing at Helene Fuld College of Nursing. Mr. Pearson also has a Bachelor of Arts in Religion Ministry from Luther Rice College and Seminary. John has great passion for serving his community; he has been volunteering with GFDHA since 2018. Mr. Lu volunteers with the Kids Quest and Junior High Ministry at Perimeter Church along with mentoring young adults at the Gwinnett Young Life and Duluth High School (9th grade students).
Alma has an extensive medical and dental background as she completed her nursing and dental assisting careers during her travels to various countries while a military spouse of 30+ years. Ms. Walker has a special passion for helping poverty driven youthful centered communities; her immediate role with GFDHA is the “Sponsor A Child” program. She conducts interviews with potential sponsors from the United States 🇺🇸 and match children and families in Ghana 🇬🇭 with sponsorships. She communicates daily with the SAC in-take representatives in Ghana to stay up to date on the immediate needs of the sponsored families. She organizes the “Jeans and Things 4 Joma” Clothing Drive. One of Mrs. Walker’s greatest strengths is the ability to work well with others in strengthening communities.
