Benedicta

Benedicta is from a remote village in Ghana-Asenkyen near Agogo, Ashanti region. She is five years old and pink is her favorite color. Benedicta’s mother left her at 8-months old in the care of her father, Nana Yaw Osei Barimma. Her father was unemployed when her mother abandoned the two of them. After not being able to find work and care for Benedicta, he left her with a neighbor in 2017 (she was 3-years old)and never returned. With seven kids of her own, the neighbor “auntie Alma” could no longer provide for Benedicta; she was later placed in an orphanage. After 6-months of being at the orphanage, her grandmother (father’s mother) came for her but her grandmother died after having Benedicta for one year. She grew very close to her grandmother because no one had ever shown her so much love. After her grandmother died, Benedicta found herself with another neighbor “auntie Acosa”. Benedicta is currently being shifted around from neighbor to neighbor. She doesn’t have a stable home. Benedicta is seeking sponsorship to help provide a stable living condition. The orphan in which she was removed has non occupancy. Please be the angel sent from above to help Benedicta!
