Davis is 10-years old; he lives in Weija with his mother. David’s mother is a single mom and unemployed. David doesn’t know his father personally but has seen him once. David struggles mentally due to the level of poverty he and his mother experiences. His mother struggles to care for him; she sells local plantain and pineapple to earn food for them to eat daily.
